Leadership Development

As a recognised and celebrated leader in this field, and in particular Aboriginal Women’s Leadership, JHA is able to deeply engage through credibility, reputation and universal experience.


International Engagements

JHA is a regular speaker on the International scene.  Current engagement tours include India and Italy in 2014. Previous work has been undertaken in USA, China, UK, Germany and South Africa.



Workshop and Other Facilitation

Workshops are tailored to client needs. JHA’s facilitation style is based upon reciprocity and learning. Real outcomes are delivered at end of each workshop. Conference, seminar and other facilitation are also available.


Evaluations and Reviews

As a former member of the ATSIC Review Panel, JHA is accustomed to the requirements and rigours of Reviews, and has evaluated many services and programs.


Capacity Building

JHA strives to impart knowledge in governance, skills and other tools necessary to build capacity in individuals and communities.



Local, State, National Consultations

United Nations, Women’s Leadership, Domestic and Family Violence Education are among some of the nationwide consultations undertaken by JHA.


Strategic Planning

JHA has partnered with and has access to the finest strategic planners in the country including MI Murren, Nous Group, REOS and Sandbox Consulting.


Feasibility Studies

It’s always a challenge to start from scratch. JHA relishes the opportunity to provide plans for future outcomes. A most successful recent feasibility study was completed for the Australian Library and Information Association for the “investigation of early literacy programs sitting outside the formal education framework which target Indigenous children living in remote communities”.



Mediation and Negotiation

Known as a “People Whisperer”, JHA is able to problem solve complex issues and arrive at mutually satisfying solutions.


Policy and Program Analysis

JHA has been influential in major Indigenous policy reforms over many years including Housing, Educational, Legal, Cultural Institutions and Women’s Issues.


Reconciliation Implementation

The Director of JHA is a Reconciliation Specialist. She brings with her the power and professional working life and history of the Reconciliation Movement in Australia. She is a former Co-Chair of Reconciliation Australia. JHA provides advice on all aspects of Reconciliation (including RAPs).
